So I was over on another forum and some folks were talking about these MGL amps. I hadn’t heard of them but then clips started getting posted. Everything sounded pretty killer, so I reached out to Mark Bishop (Builder) and he offered to send me out the 50 and 100 watt amps to check out.
The 100 showed up but the 50 decided to go on a bit of an adventure!
Anyway, need to spend a bit of time getting familiar with these and then going to do some demos and such. The amps look killer for sure and all the clips I’ve heard sound rad.
We shall see…

I've been eyeing this amp since it was released. It sounds so good. One of the best new 800-inspired amps out there. If not THE best. A friend of mine here has the 50w and it blows me away every I play it.

Nice! yeah the clips of the MGL stuff always sound awesome. It will be cool to hear what you think of it, given your exposure to all kinds of other boutique-y "Marshall type" amps

Yeah man, this was a “new to me” brand. Mark was really cool to chat with and is just very into building amps.
