So I got a 65 watt creamback a few months back for my ‘76 deluxe reverb. Was a massive improvement over the Jensen c12n in there
Shortly after that, my mom sent me a redback for my birthday. I had an empty Madison 2x12 that I was using as a cat condo but given the speaker surplus decided to put it back in play. So put the redback in there as well as hijacking the creamback. Since then it’s been my “leave at my drummers cab” but the DR has been empty all this time. Played one glorious fill in gig with it in there and then decommissioned it a week later
Anyway, ordered a 75w creamback to mix things up. I took that to my drummers on Wednesday and popped that into the 2x12 and now the 65watt is going back into the DR
/csb
Ironic side note, for some reason I got my wires crossed and all this time I’ve been thinking I’ve been micing the redback for our IEMs at practice (as well as some stuff we recorded on the EP)
Welll… turns out it’s actually been the creamback getting Mic’ed this whole time

Yeah definitely was digging it (was being used with crab Marcus lol)
I figured the 75 watter would be more appropriate for a cab that high gain stuff gets played out of (not that the 65 has any issue with high gain lol)
I have the old 65 screwed back in to the DR just need to solder it today
Creambacks are just damn good. My Friedman dirty shirley cab has a 65, my Marshall has 75s and I dig them both equally. Also my Pro Reverb still has the Creamback NEO in it and it's good enough for most of what I do with it as a pedal platform.

I’m off work tomorrow and I put a “to do” list on my fridge tomorrow, mostly chores but soldering the 65 bsck into my DR is on there
75 watt is in my “leave at the drummers” 2x12 so won’t be revisiting that again til Wednesday lol
