You want a deal?

Post by broslinger »

Cream city music

I buy pedals there. Selection isn’t huge, but it’s good. They also have a lot of guitars and amps.

20% off

Code Vip20

No shipping no sales tax pretty liberal with brands not being excluded as well.

I got an obne darkstar stereo today for $240 all in. A new one would be $320 on reverb after taxes. .

Good place for:
Collision devices
29 pedals
Meris
Old blood noise endeavors
Walrus
Eventide
Thorpy
Etc.

It’s a great brick and mortar store, too. I went there once, when I had to work in that area (just outside of Milwaukee), and they had a FANTASTIC selection of vintage Mu-Tron pedals - the whole set, and multiple Bi-Phases - the entire Strymon range, circa 2018, a really nice Strat with a pine body, harvested from an old warehouse in northern Wisconsin, and all of the good Boss pedals, including an SG-1.

Since I just redid my rig three days ago (I will be addressing that shortly) and I’m going to be in austerity mode for the foreseeable future, I can’t partake in the discount.

I was trying to be good and buy nothing for a while after buying the R Weaver Vibe.

Damn you. Damn you all.
Now I have a Beetronics Swarm incoming. I have wanted to try his stuff for a while now, so I can't wait for this to come in.

I own quite a few vibes - DLS Versa Vibe, JHS Unicorn, Drybell Vibe Machine, Deja Vibe and the R Weaver. I hear this deep throbby syrupy tone when I hear demos, I can't hear that in mine.Could be pickups, amp, speakers , maybe not enough amp volume. I've read there's a lot other things that contribute to how a vibe sounds.
It definitely sounds the best out of everything I have for sure. The way it sounds going into fuzz, there's just something about it that none of my other vibes do. This is the only one I own where I don't feel the need to have the intensity all the way up. The Drybell sounds like a phaser compared to this.
I may contact Rick, I had read that he had sourced NOS bulbs from Japan that sound even better than the older bulbs he was using before - more throb. He says you can send it in and he will swap out the bulb for a reasonable price, so I may do that. Maybe I'll also see what he charges to add an output to use a pedal to control the speed.

Hell yeah. I’ve always wanted to try some of the Beetronics stuff. I’m debating buying something stupid but this is a really good discount for some brands that never get discounts.
