I've had a 2100 SLX and MkIII. I prefer the mkIII though I never did a side by side shootout

I'm overwhelmed with the desire for my 6th JCM900.

I've been working on an AC15 build. I've got it (mostly) debugged and sounding pretty excellent. However I've got a low end distortion that really jumps out at me when I record the amp. H-S and Tele-WRHB are my two favorite pickup combos. Either would work great in a strat.

My nephew is interested in playing guitar. I have a mini guitar already I can lend him but I know he'd have more fun with it if he has an amp.

What's the best mini amp out there? I'm think maybe one of those 9V Marshalls would be the move.
