I think one fairly easy distinction with small builders is that the ones with big egos who act all Billy bigballs on the internet nearly always end up being problematic. The dudes who keep their heads down and just crack on with it tend not to write cheques they can't cash.

Picked up Elden Ring nightreign today. This is fun. Super fast paced and chaotic.

The hot cat 30 is biased unreasonably hot and eats tubes. It's a fairly common mod to change the bias resistor (they are cathode biased) to set the bias hot, but somewhat sensibly hot so it doesn't go through 3 sets of tubes a year

Stranger things definitely helped kick off a nostalgia for period. I've seen quite a few kids doing speed/thrash in E standard, complete with whammy bar abuse solos that'd make Kerry King blush.
