Re: Guyker tuners: very good inexpensive hardware

I'll look into them. Gotoh prices have crept up considerably.

Re: NGD

Looks awesome. Love that trussrod nut, the volume knob location, the reverse headstock, and that floyd.

Quick Question: Where is the pickup selector?

Re: On the road again...

Badass! Congrats.

Not surprised the 2x12 sounds great. I haven't used a 4x12 in years.

Re: Trying to pick the right od from my stash

J rockett bue note? disclaimer, I honestly dont really know what jangles means For some reason, I've never played a J rocket. No reason, I just haven't been attracted to them. Jangles = Playing chords, it sounds like all of the notes and your pickups. I guess "amplike" is a good approxima...

Re: Trying to pick the right od from my stash

Maybe something like a BD-2 or derivative thereof? My Keely Super Phat Mod doesn’t have much of a mid hump and brings some nice sparkles on the top end. I actually tried out a BD-2 and an SD-1 yesterday as well. They both sound perfectly usable and fine. Makes me confident I could make an all Boss ...

Eh, maybe the clean bleed just sounds plonky to me.

Re: Trying to pick the right od from my stash

Quick run through this morning. Pce af1 klone - same problem as a tubescreamer. It’s designed to boost something for playing lead in a band. Weird midspike. Not flat enough. Eae halberd. This is such a cool pedal. I guess it has 12 transistors. It does jangly flat really well. It stacks really well....

Re: Trying to pick the right od from my stash

Do you have any Klones? That is my idea of a pedal that jangles but also boosts. OCD v1.1 is killer indeed. I need to check out the EAE Limelight. I've heard great things about it. Great question. I do. Didn’t get a chance to use one today. I thought of a few more that need to be inserted into the ...
