Hell yeah!! The VII is no joke! They packed a lot of shit into that amp and really nailed the tone. To me it’s like a modern sounding mark series. But I feel like Mesa always kinda did that with each Mark iteration…they’re all kinda tone stamped for the time period they were released.

Oh yeah, the VII has more gain than every other Mark series. Like gain at 2 o clock is equivalent to maxed out on the Mark IV.

I liked mine a lot stock. Hard to tell what this mod did without a reference point. It sounds bright in the video but like it could be the camera mic doing that. But sounds good!
