Re: PSA - EHX Lizard Queen

I got one on back order. For $40 I’ve bought worse.

Re: PRS Dragonforce Signature guitar lol

I like it. Kinda dumb it’s being so limited in production but hopefully there’s enough demand for these they may do more going forward. It’s a cool design for PRS.

Re: Today’s Score

That’s freaking awesome! I still have an old RP2000 which does sound great for what it does. I’m sure the GSP1101 being much newer than that thing is way improved. I know modeling has come a long way, but a lot of this earlier stuff especially from Digitech still sounds awesome.

Sounds awesome man. That’s a great hard rock tone if there ever was.

Re: A New Helix,

The QC should be good for a long time. What do you really need? Clean, crunch, lead, a few effects, maybe bass tone? It will do that. This modelling stuff is a bit like cell phones. You have a phone you use for call, text and taking pictures. Then the new model is released and you can't wait to upg...

Thanks! The Mooer E-Lady is a MIC Electric Mistress Flanger clone and it does those chorusy type sounds really well. Eventually I'd like to get the PastFX Elastic Mattress but for now, I dig what that one does. Plus it runs at 9V.

Let's get some clips, mang! https://soundcloud.com/user-800138079/bad-cat-bc-30-ch-1-jam 4 minutes of strumming, chords, arpeggios and trying to sound like a 90s pop rock band. Telecaster, Super Phat Mod at some points and even a little Mooer E Lady. Captor into Scarlett. IRs were York Audio MTCH H...

Re: NAD: Bad Cat Black Cat 30

Yeah to be honest, minus the minor preamp swap I did, the power section is fine. The amp is pretty damn quiet from a noise perspective. And that’s with leaving it on and in standby overnight last night. I spent a lot of time with it the last few days and I’m finding all kinds of great sounds in it. ...

Re: NAD: Bad Cat Black Cat 30

It’s fucking great. I did some playing and minor tube rolling over the weekend. I pulled the JJ pres on channel one and loaded some Mullard CV4004 RIs. These are the same pre amp tubes in my Metroplex. That channel cleaned up a hair gain wise, but also warmed up a little. It’s still articulate but l...

Re: NGD: I'm done

Well god damn! That’s a hell of a Strat if there ever was. Between that and the Pittman Tele I think you got two of the best Fender style guitars out there.
