Nice little setup Abe! Nothing wrong with the SE HBII either. It’s a great guitar and not just for the money or an import. I’ve got a couple SEs that are a joy to play and hang with some of my more expensive guitars. Same with my Gretsch Electromatic and my Epi Sheraton.

Re: Hurricane rampage clip
Most people send messages saying they’re ok after a major natural disaster. Raf serves up massive fucking riffs that make the disaster pale in comparison.
Glad you’re ok dude.

Re: Kerry King solo
That solo was verging on being tastful in places. Is KK alright? From what I read, Paul was supposed to start recording in 2020 and then Covid happened, so Kerry had several months to flesh out his solos. There probably aren't many Slayer songs that he had that much time. Also some of the solos wer...

Re: What the world needs: a new line of Strats
I'm pretty sure the AXN guy is a scammer? He definitely is at very least renowned in the 80s rock guitar scene as a prick for part out guitars and asking insane prices for the "guts" You could make something just as good out of parts from builders for probably 20% of what those are likely...

Re: Top Mount Floyd
Pros: sit higher on the body like a Les Paul bridge. Easier to deck/set to dive only. Still can float. Cons: not as much room for pull ups as a recessed Floyd. Requires the neck to be angled in order to play right (shims can solve this) which may involve a trip to your tech/luthier. I can play both ...

Re: Koch Ness Monster Supreme
That’s pretty expensive for a Koch that’s just gonna lie around on the floor. I mean it’s still a pretty big Koch but it’s just gonna be lying there.
