I have a Supro Black Magick 1695T, which is a great 112 combo. Like Endtime described, turned up, they get that old school break up. I mainly keep mine in the clean range as a pedal platform. Tremolo is pretty awesome too.
I am going to go with Friedman because it's closer to a hot-rod Marshall feel . The Splawns definitely get the Marshall tone but they feel different. They're tighter and stiffer. Almost like a cross between a Marshall and a Fryette. Both brands are great but Friedman is closer to Marshall IMHO. And...
