Predictably, I decided to ignore all advice given here. I went out on a limb and got the Keeley Fuzz Bender. delay up front is the way. literally only you will be able to tell the difference

I've never been a fuzz guy, but I've got an itch for one that I can kick on for that splatty velcro sound. My setup isn't the most fuzz-friendly: LP style guitar with humbuckers into a mid-heavy gainy amp. Also needs to be pedalboard friendly in terms of size and power.
