If it fixes the problem, then I'm all for it. I haven't done this to any of my own SGs, as they all balance pretty well and don't neck dive. Also, all SGs should be 24 fret!

I like the block inlays. What I hate is that atrocious pickguard and control plate. Oh and I can't forget those retarded pickups.

I find that it's closer to an SD-1 than a TS. Perhaps a bit more aggressive than an SD-1

I've used one for years now. As mentioned, a half step sounds decent, and doesn't mess with your tone too bad. You can even get away with a full step, but anything more and it starts to sound and feel a bit loose and flubby.

Used Roland Cubes always seemed like a good, cheap option, and sound pretty decent.

Well yeah, someone showed me the clamps to use and they're cheap. Was going to get some loctite or maybe that tite bond. There were a couple of other ideas posted as well to fix.
