Re: To neck dive or not - 2024 Gibson SG content VOTE
If it fixes the problem, then I'm all for it. I haven't done this to any of my own SGs, as they all balance pretty well and don't neck dive. Also, all SGs should be 24 fret!

Re: New Ceriatone FAS..... a SLO 100 Clone
Pretty cool. I would have bought one, but I've already arranged to have someone finish my SLO clone build for me. I just don't have the time to work on it. I started on it 13 years ago LOL!

Re: Is this hot? (G&L content)
I like the block inlays. What I hate is that atrocious pickguard and control plate. Oh and I can't forget those retarded pickups.

Re: Rats
I have a T-Rex Yellow Drive that is supposedly a dual rat pedal. I always thought it was SD-1 based because it's yellow
I find that it's closer to an SD-1 than a TS. Perhaps a bit more aggressive than an SD-1
I've never owned an actual rat.

NGD - BC Rich Double Cut...huh?!?!
My first real guitar was an NJ Series BC Rich Bich. I ended up with three of them at one point. As such, I've always had a soft spot for BC Rich, but I haven't owned one in years. More recently I've really been into my SGs, but I've been interested in other double cuts. I've been close to pulling th...

Re: Thoughts on Epiphone SG w/ P90s
I have an Epiphone SG Special P90
It's a very decent guitar for the money. Great comfortable neck, and the pickups do sound pretty good, but I don't have a lot of P90 experience so...

Almost sold my Ultra Plus - came to my senses.
I've been trying to purge a bunch of gear, and I started out with two Peavey Ultra Plus heads. I sold the other one a few months ago, and I've had the other one listed for sale for a few months too. I've had a few tire kickers, but no one has laid out the cash so far fortunately for me. I just plugg...

Re: Digitech Drop pedal
I've used one for years now. As mentioned, a half step sounds decent, and doesn't mess with your tone too bad. You can even get away with a full step, but anything more and it starts to sound and feel a bit loose and flubby.

Re: Desktop sized practice amp recommendations
Used Roland Cubes always seemed like a good, cheap option, and sound pretty decent.

Re: Acceptable offer on the broken Uberkab?
Well yeah, someone showed me the clamps to use and they're cheap. Was going to get some loctite or maybe that tite bond. There were a couple of other ideas posted as well to fix. I posted it in rig talk as well asking how to fix and got some good info. Titebond is the way to go. I’m a hobbyist wood...
