I was 10 or 11 when that dropped so that didn’t happen for me lol. I do own the Pulse CD set and have watched the live DVD a few times. I keep saying I’m going to do a Strat build with the EMG set David was using then just because of that album and tour.

Yeah I like The Division Bell. It's not the best Pink Floyd album but that's a very high bar. It's an excellent album by any and all standards.

The Pulse live video changed my life. I'm just sad it took me until 2010 to see it. It was the reason I bought my first Civil War Muff from SUF. It's the reason I kick myself for not buying a real civil war muff when AMS had them for like $60 back in 1994. I thought fuzzes were stupid.

FWIW, a normal strat + Boss CE-2 + Russian Muff + any Overdrive, Pristine Delay, and Compression = instant Pulse.

It's amazing what a strat and a CE2 will do with a Russian Muff.

Been watching Winona's Big Brown Beaver with my daughter lately. She cackles at the art direction and at how funny Les and the guys are.

Beyond that, the new Tears For Fears still.

St Vincent Daddy's Home. I rotate between Daddy's Home and Masseduction. The Saturday Night Fever soundtrack has also made it back into my cars CD player.

Just after the above song ended, the Radio DJ played a spoken word recording made by Gus Bodenheim, philosopher and humorist.

Love Sordid Pink, especially the song "Freak". David Maxim Micic is a fuckin beast

You should definitely jam the Destiny Potato "Lun" album if you never have; it's the name they used to go by. That album is a fuckin masterpiece IMO

The Dirty Nil's album "Free Reign to Passions". Possibly one of the best new rock bands even though this is their 5th album...

Getting a little acclimated to Big Wreck. They are playing in Cleveland on the 14th and for $25, I have to go see what they are all about.

Stumbled upon the Fear and Cowardice vid and the riff hooked me.
